Who We Are

Tacotel is the operator of an ultra-modern Inland Container Depot and the sole handler of import and export cargo in and out of the Port of Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.

Who We Are

Tacotel is the operator of an ultra-modern Customs Bonded Inland Container Depot (ICD) created out of a concessionary agreement between the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) and Ibistek Limited. It was established to operate the off-dock terminal as an extension of the GPHA in Takoradi, and the sole handler of import and export cargo in and out of the Port of Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana. In addition to receipt and delivery of cargo, the terminal also performs related activities such as storage of empty and laden containers.

At Tacotel Limited, we proudly stand head and shoulders above our competitors offering seamless logistics services. Our unique combination of experience, service, and technology allows us to provide container terminal services with a high degree of reliability at reduced cost. We are dedicated to providing quality services which our clients deserve.

We have a team of experienced and well-trained professionals for all our services to ensure that our clients get the best of service delivery. Tacotel currently has ten (10) competent and experienced Managers with competencies ranging from Business and Shipping Administration to Terminal Operations, Human Resources, Health and Safety, Customer Relations, and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
